KOKUMO KINETIC’s “The Faggot Who Could Fly”: May 15th

Hello! Please come and support T.G.I.F. (Trans, GNC, Intersex Freedom). T.G.I.F. is Chicago’s first ever Trans Pride and it takes place July 29, 2012 from 12:00 until 4:00 pm at Union Park! In the mean time come and support T.G.I.F. doing a fundraiser at the University of Chicago at 5710 South Woodlawn. I will be performing my one-transwoman show, The Faggot Who Could Fly.

The Faggot Who Could…¬†Fly is the story of an African-American transwoman who navigated sexual abuse, domestic violence, and oppression in order to assert her transwomanhood. The event is free and open to the public with a suggested $5.00 donation. The event is from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Showtime is at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you. The revolution will be TGI. The question is will you be ready?

Enterprisingly,

We were fortunate to see this show last fall and it was amazing. KOKUMO brings the house down every time. You’ll laugh, cry, and hug the person next to you. If you have a chance to see this, please do!
